I think what you all are doing is awesome! I grew up in a small South Georgia town with old schools. Only one remains and it is on a historical list. These old schools need to be saved and upscaled, so “Good on you” as the Aussie’s say. I mean this very respectfully… your voice sounds very much like a DJ I listen to on K-Love radio. I think that was a great idea placing those wooden pieces over holes on the doors. It’s gonna look so cool. Also that is awesome machine. Didn’t realize it’ll cut steel n a few other items. I also can’t wait till see them kitchen finished. I just know I ts gonna look fantastic. It’s a lot of school/house it’s gonna take some time to get it to where you want it. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟

I kinda wonder why you made the boys rooms so small and didn't add a third upstairs guest bedroom or room for more kids. I know the entire downstairs is still to complete, but for ahuge house footprint I think the bedroom number and size seems out of sync.

I'm in Jackson, MS and just sub. to ya'll. Would you believe my Dad is from Greensburg, IN. Of all the vlogs of home renos. I've been watching there's this connection to my family statewise. I don't know if anybody is still up there. Dad passed away in 2015 and I haven't been able to go through all his stuff to see who he connected with since I have medical disability I'm having to deal with. I love those brick walls and wood floors! What about the origional fireplaces or wood stoves?

This will be a great multigenerational home, however, I have to wonder about the cost to heat it and how you will manager having to maintain all of it even if it is using different systems. Seems like more "house", being many times bigger than the average home, comes with a huge amount of ongoing costs.

When you buy an old building the goul should, even must be, to safe and preserve the history of the building. Otherwise let it be and give the chance to someone who is willing and able to do it. The new wood floor destroys the history of this building complitly. You should have chosen the same like the old one. It is really disappointing to see you didn't respect and appreciate the history of this building.
